Ellen White Dry Asbestos Packing

Plaited cover on cover throughout in ROUND or SQUARE SECTION as may be required. This provides a solid construction packing of higher density without loss of flexibility. Conforms the requirement of commercial quality and IS Specn 4687-1995.

APPLICATION : General steam and insulation packing for hot gases ovens and auto clave doors, Boiler lagging. Also caulking, thermal insulation, furnace joints, exhaust pipe lagging and for ductings. The packing has considerable endurance power at varying temperatures and pressures.

It possesses an excellent fire resisting, fire rot and vermin proof qualities. It confirms to DCS & D G/Misc/81 C commercial quality and IS SPECN. Our products are in standard width of 101/107 cms, and in thickness 1.5 mm, 2mm, S.Omm in roil of 56/60 kgs. Approx. other thickness on request.

APPLICATION : used as thermal insulation on boilers, pipelines and ancillary equipments, in power stations, factories and ships. Also used for making protective clothing and industrial curtains, and for blankets for smothering fires and hand gloves.

ELLEN LUBRICATED AND GRAPHITED ASBESTOS GLAND PACKING : Metallic plaited cover on cover reinforced with soft brass wire, which improves its strength and anti friction properties. It is specially suited to high speed rotary and reciprocating shafts even at higher temperature and pressure. Reinforcement of brass wire improves its strength and anti friction properties. Conforms IS Specn. 4687-1995. available in square section.

APPLICATION : Recommended for saturated & superheated steam at all pressures, hot water, gases, oils, rotary and reciprocating equipments steam expansion glands. Specially recommended for high pressure super heated steam, valves, turbines, glands, etc. where abrasive and viscous liquids are not likely to adversely affect the brass wire.

ELLEN ASBESTOS LAGGING ROPE : is a low density fibre filled rope enclosed in a wide mesh braided (fishnet) cover. It is made up in coils in rope form. It is one of the simplest forms of removable lagging or heat insulating material.

SIZES : 12 mm to 51 mm DIA in standard coils of 30 meters.
